My heart is filled with compassion,

As I start To Cry,
You held out a ring,
A ring that would bind us together forever,
I fell to my knees in happiness,
You hugged, and held me close to you,
And vowed that you would never leave my side,
To this day you have never left me,
You always did exactly what you promised,

Open Eyes

I'm afraid there's not enough time,
I want to hold you
Until my vision becomes blurred,
until I can't breathe
Having you here is a miracle of life,
it’s true
And I’ve always known our souls were meant to be
Wishing that we'll grow old in one night,
and never be apart
It’s all I’ve ever wanted for us since that first smile
You gave me a feeling so strong,
you opened my heart
You made me see with open eyes this is all worthwhile
I’d give up everything in this world,
I’d sacrifice it all
I would leave my life to give you every part of me
And watch over you like an angel so you won’t fall
I’d hold you in my wings, so you feel everything in me
My Love for you will live until I lose my strength
I’d save my last breath just to say I Love you
Because you love is what gave me my will, my strength
All because I’ve always known I’d still have you

In the after glow of love’s refrain.
The tresses of your brown hair,
Disheveled by uncontrolled desires,
Luscious lips that once wore red
Now lie pale, naked and silent,
The gentle breathing of your tanned body
Glistening with drops of love’s passion,
Your bruised breasts seeking repose
From amorous lips that worshiped there,
And your sea-green eyes now bowed
In prayer and contemplation,
But on your beautiful, angelic face
Sits a sweet smile of contentment.

SOME SWEET POEMS
Love On A Lazy Summer's Day

The meadow looks so beautiful this morning
The river just ambles on by
Barges and boats leave their moorings
Not caring where they are going or why.
The couple on deck are waving
Encouraging the artist in me
I carry on with my engraving
Carving a heart in the bark of a tree.
The riverbank dotted with primrose
Buttercup and purple flowering sage
Honeysuckle grows in the hedgerows
Surely this must be true loves stage.
A skylark hovers over the meadow
In the bushes the yellow hammers sing
I watch intently as the swallow
Catches her prey on the wing.
Mother nature is displaying her beauty
Her wisdom, her magic, her charm
One day you will share this with me
When I'm holding you in my arms.
Please my Lord hurry the day
My love and I have been so long apart
Help me Lord to find the way
To the girl who holds my heart.

Messenger Of Love

I got up this morning,
Got shot at with a bow;
The arrow went straight to my heart,
It was Cupid, you know.
He said he had a message
He thought I'd want to hear;
He told me that you loved me,
And that you held me dear.
He said you'd want an answer
If I felt for you the same,
Because if I really didn't,
It would be a crying shame.
So I told Mr. Cupid
To fly on back to you,
And shoot you full of arrows
So you would have a clue
Of just how much I love you
You mean the world to me.
I wish to spend my life with you
Through all eternity.
The Other Half of Me

Messenger Of Love

I don't want this dream to end.
