Titanic- Biggest of the all. This ship started the term –Titanic. Vanished overnight Followed by many articles, documentaries, novels, myths & movies. Became the mystery & did the history. 14 April 1912 the biggest ship on earth disappeared & lost. 1517 people disappeared.

Titanic was approximately two-thirds of the way through its maiden voyage from Southampton, England, to New York City via the Atlantic Ocean, when it struck an iceberg on 14 April at 23:40. Twenty minutes later, preparations for evacuation began. At about 2:20 Titanic sank entirely

There are lots of ship wrecks but this was the biggest. Today I am discussing this because there is a new Bacterium -  Halomonas titanicae speeding up the corrosion process of the Titanic. source
